First thing I’d like to address is the fact that Christmas is less than a week away. What the…!
Yes, I bought socks at my local grocery store. Tacky? Yes. Comfy? Yes.
I don’t even know what is wrong with Bentley in that picture. Please excuse.
Christmas this year is going to be super low key. My brother actually leaves back to college on Christmas day, so my mom and I will just be chillin’.
I am just appalled at how fast this month flew by. Actually, this YEAR flew by pretty quickly.
Anyway, I hope everyone had a nice, relaxing weekend. I know I did! In case you missed something:
- I had a Celebration,
- I went Running,
- My Friday Favorites.
Yesterday morning after sleeping 10 hours <—(yeah, I can’t believe it either), and having the laziest morning ever, I got my butt over to the gym.
I completed an upper body workout doing 3 sets, 15 reps of various moves.
- Shoulder Press
- Bicep Curls
- Upright Row
- Tricep Dips
- Dumbbell Row
- Chest Press
I then completed about 35 minutes on the elliptical, and some ab exercises.
Best post-workout fuel ever.
After getting home from the gym, it was way too beautiful to stay inside.
It was cool, in the mid 70’s, and not a cloud in the sky. There is a preserve near my house, and it sounded like the perfect place to go for a nice, leisurely walk.
Cheeeese. Do not ask me what that little piece of hair is doing in the upper right corner of my head. It will not grow or move. Embarrassing.
I was still in my gym attire, hot. I don’t mind going out looking like a hobo obviously.
It was quite disappointing because there were no cool creatures to look at. No birds, no reptiles, nothing. It was just nice to be outside and enjoy the fresh air.
Once we got home, we popped in the hot tub and simply relaxed. Dinner was up next.
Pork chop, broccoli, sweet potato. Nothing too creative, but very good nonetheless.
The Grinch was watched after our bellies were full. My favorite Christmas movie ever.
Do you like to do outdoor or indoor activities more?
I love being outdoors. So definitely that over indoors, unless it’s night time.
What Christmas movies have you watched recently?
What is the weather like where you live?

Weekends are awesome. Full stop.
I definitely prefer being outdoors – if the weather’s good, there’s no point in staying in! The weather here’s normally scorching hot, but as of late it’s been the most unpredictable thing EVER. Super hot one day, raining the whole day the next.

I totally know what you mean. Unpredictable weather can be super annoying!
Sounds like a great sunday! I am so jealous of your 70 degree weather! I WISH! Right now we have temps in the teens!

At least it feels like Christmas there!
It will be warm in no time!
I love the outdoors heaps more! I just switched from beachy weather to 32 degrees here in NYC. It’s nice to be cosy for a little bit. But I am off to Australia for chrissy so back to summer again… yay
p.s. i hang out in my workout gear too!

Thanks so much Olivia!
Love that you bought Christmas socks at the grocery store! So cute. I’m ashamed to admit, but I’m really an indoor person MINUS RUNNING. I do like to run outdoors. Except in the WINTER!! I kept saying the whole time when I was wedding planning — why are we doing this outdoors? I’m not an outdoor person!! lol

Thanks
I do all my strength training and stuff inside. Running I need to be out!
What Christmas movies have you watched recently? Elf, Christmas Vacation and my 3 year old is currently watching Santa Clause 2.
What is the weather like where you live? Way too warm for December! I can’t believe we aren’t going to have snow this year for Christmas

Elf is a good one! I wish it snowed for Christmas.
It looks like you had a good workout! I really like that chocolate almond milk too! I actually prefer working out indoors! I live outside of Chicago though, so it’s usually too cold to workout outside!
If it was super snowy or something, I would definitely stick to indoors!
I love your socks! I am jealous of your warm weather, it is freezing where I live! It was 18 degrees outside this morning..

Wow, that is super cold!!! =O
It is so fun for me when you post Florida pictures – first off, they’re absolutely beautiful. I love the outdoors! The reason it’s so fun for me though, is that my boyfriend is originally from SW FL and his family is still there so every year we visit SW FL for thanksgiving. I was born in Colorado and grew up in Chicago, so for me, the blue sky you find in FL (which is in all the pictures you take) is so uncomparable. It’s unique to FL and I LOVE the reminder of how beautiful it is to be down there. You rock girl! I’m so psyched Christmas is days away too …. YIPPEE!! (Yes, I totally just yippee-d like I was a five year old waiting for santa
).
