Post-Christmas Sweat + Giveaway Winner

It feels SO good to get my sweat on after the holidays. Why wait till January 1st? Start today!

Yesterday’s workout was simply 30 minutes on the elliptical and a circuit strength workout.

Other random things from yesterday include..

Bentley got a bath, he’s very kissable now.

Big spender by Essie. In love.

Dinner was chicken, broccoli, and a potato.

This morning I woke up with the sun to get my run in. I completed 4 miles and hovered around a 9 min/mile pace the entire time.

I came back and did my new favorite yoga video. I’ve been doing this yoga video on the days where I have a short run, and I already feel myself improving.

My flexibility, balance, coordination, everything. I absolutely love it and I really want to stick with it!

Post-workout breakfast was something you’ve all seen many times.

Plain yogurt with blackberries and a plum. Whole wheat English muffin, with almond butter, banana, and a pinch of chia seeds.

I would love to start branching out my breakfasts, but when I’m starving I make the fastest thing I can.

  7. I’m like you – my breakfasts are usually always the same. I’m okay with that though because I love my bowl of Kellogg’s FiberPlus – yum! Dinner is probably when I get the most creative and try new things. I like having my family home to help me out in the kitchen. Its such a great experience for my little ones.

  8. Yup – I’ve seen that breakfast a few times, but it always looks good! haha

I’m rocking dark purple nail polish right now. It is a wee bit darker than I’d like since it kinda’ looks black, but I still like it.

  9. I love that nail polish color! Mine is a pale purple…I’ve been raiding my sister’s closet at home and she loves plum colored shirts. It matches beautifully :) PS: I love working out between Christmas and NYE. I always try to savor the empty gym before resolutions kick in!

Yay :D I can’t wait for my chobani! i love working out after the holidays…its a great way to de-stress and get back to a normal schedule. i always seem to try new things for dinner because during school its usually the only meal i have time to change up!

  12. I love Essie. Building my stash of colors. I’m always posting the stuff on Instagram (oatmealbowl).

As for the yoga video…it now shows a spring water video. However, I am doing Danielle Diamond’s Xen Strength Yoga with weights and Loving it. Definitely a good workout but you feel great after cuz it stretches you out. Love yoga in general.

Considering that I’m a yoga teacher, I definitely love it! ;) I practice pretty much every day and it’s become just a part of my daily routine.

I get in breakfast ruts too. I always go for the same thing! I’d actually like to try yours though, it sounds delicious. My most versatile meal is lunch. Since I pack it in advanced I tend to bring more fun, different things. When I’m making something at home I get impatient and just want something quick!
