Good morning and Happy Saturday!
I loved all your comments about LiveFit. I’ve only heard great things about it, so that makes me even more excited to start! Thanks for everyone’s input : )
Last night a little pampering occurred that was MUCH needed.
HEAVEN. I actually got my first ever shellac manicure!
I am always partial to dark colors. I know it’s spring, but I just love the deep burgundy colors.
I’m one of those people who get a regular manicure and chips a nail or two on the way home. So I knew I needed to try this shellac that everyone has raved about. So far, so good!
I made an appointment yesterday for 5:30 and didn’t get home till 7:30 p.m. I had to get the shellac, pedicure, and waxing so it took forever.
When I got home, I was STARVING. Luckily, my mom was cooking up some Turkey Muffins!
Since they were going to take 40 minutes to bake, I whipped up some salads to have as an appetizer while waiting.
I threw some spinach, tomato, dry edamame, and a dollop of cottage cheese into a bowl. Everything together was delicious.
The cottage cheese made it creamy, while the edamame gave it a little crunch.
Some all natural ketchup was added on the side after the picture for some dipping. I loved the muffins, they had a little kick to them too.
Perfect for a late bite.
I’m off to yoga and maybe some shopping will ensue after
What is your favorite way to get pampered?
Is there a nail color you get a lot or do you do something different every time?
What do you snack on when you are starving and waiting for dinner to cook?

omg girl I am like obsessed with “no chip” manicures..I promise you, you will NEVER go back now. Look on groupon because there are ALWAYS super cheap deals for no chips on there. These puppies last me for like 2.5 weeks!

Massages are my go to pampering! Thankfully I have a Manfriend more than willing to oblige to my massage needs. I never get my nails did because I always mess them up, and I have kind of gnarly hands so I try not to draw attention to them. Yours look lovely though!

I love the burgundy! I’ve been loving dark colours this winter too – especially emerald green. I usually get pedicures instead of manicures though because I figure there’s less chance of them chipping haha.
Also thanks for linking to that recipe! I’ve made turkey muffins before but never that recipe so I really want to try that one out!
