LiveFit Pronunciation

IMG_3234

Day one of LiveFit trainer complete! I ended up doing eight minutes of light elliptical as a warm-up because my mom was running late and I was bored of sitting in the car.

The workout was great, but it was a LOT shorter than I am used to. It was kind of crowded at the gym, and I was still finished in a half hour.

It is only the first day though, they will get a lot longer and in more detail as the weeks go on I’m sure.

I don’t think I’m going to show my progress or go too much into detail every single day because it can get redundant, but I’ll probably just check in after each phase or maybe a few weeks.

What do you all think? Would you rather hear a recap about the entire phase, or a mid point check in?

Anyway, onto tonight’s dinner!

Grilled chicken, sweet potato, asparagus, and sliced tomato.

I haven’t had asparagus in forever, and I’m not sure why. It’s so good!

I’ve been following the meal plan with the cleans eats as well as eating every three hours.

One thing I love about that is I have a lot more energy and I don’t feel too full or too hungry. So far so good.

Since I’m already on the topic of the trainer, I need to ask you all a serious question.

Every time I say LiveFit, I pronounce it live as in this is a live show. I didn’t think anything of it until my mom asked if live, as in live your life, and now I’m not so sure.

Live, as in live your life, sounds more logical, but live, as in this is a live show, just has a better ring to it.

Am I dumb, or has anyone done the same thing?! I’m so embarrassing.

I’m off to watch the most drama filled bachelor show yet. Not going to lie, I’m so excited.

How do you pronounce LiveFit??

Should I do phase updates or mid point updates too?

How long do your workouts usually take?

  2. i always thought live fit was the way that you were pronouncing it – now i’m curious as to which is the correct one!

i would love reading midpoint updates but phase updates are great too! when i’m not running during the track season my workouts usually are about an hour each, but with track it varies day-to-day (workout days are much shorter, just running days are usually anywhere from 50-70 minutes).

  4. My workouts vary from 45 minutes, to 60, and 90 minutes. All depends on what I’m doing: cardio, lifting, or pilates/yoga/stretching…

  5. Haha! I had the same question about the pronunciation!! I agree with it being L-EYE-VE fit though! It sounds better!

  11. Hehe, I loved reading others’ comments about how they’ve been pronunciating “LiveFit.” I’ve always said “live” as in “live your life,” but it could totally be the other way! Maybe we need to ask Jamie herself? ;)

I found the Phase 1 workouts to be short too, so I actually added in a bit of cardio here and there. I’ve still had great results, so I think it doesn’t hurt, as long as you keep it under 20 minutes. :)

As far as updates go: I think a midpoint check-in would be fun! But you should definitely do whatever feels right for you. :) xoxo

Haha, I always say “live” in my head like “live show,” but whenever I really think about it, I’m pretty sure it should be “live” as in “living.” IMO

Great dinner! Good luck with the program. I too am wondering how many updates are informative as opposed to annoying. Hmmm…
