Hi friends! I’m back. I can’t tell you how much I truly appreciate all of your nice comments. It meant a lot to me.
It was definitely a rough day/weekend and it’s still hard to understand it all.
Although I wish it wasn’t under those circumstances, I got to see a lot of old friends and faces from elementary/middle/high school. It was really nice to catch up with everyone and support each other.
I also got to see my best friends Brittany and Brooke and I’m really glad we were all there for each other.
I saw a double rainbow on the way back from the funeral. And the song “If I die young” came on the radio. Freaky stuff, but I know he’s in a better place now.
And all of you are also so very supporting! Again, I really appreciate it all. Thank you ![]()
Anyway, lets change back to the light and happy blog posts!
Since I went home, I got to see one of my favorite living creatures in the whole wide world.
Bentley, of course. Tons of kisses and cuddling made me feel better.
I also got to see my mom and we did a little shopping and ate some good food.
Um yeah that steak was HUGE so I didn’t eat it all. This was paired along with some red wine. I know it’s not clean eating but whatever, I needed it haha.
It was a short weekend, but now I’m back in Orlando. Before leaving yesterday morning I hit the gym for a leg workout.
I just started week three, which is where we do lower reps, and higher weight.
Can I just tell you how SORE I am??! Holy crap. It’s the kind of sore where I walk funny and sit down on the toilet really slow (TMI)?
Ouch! But I was back in the gym this morning with a back and biceps workout.
I love training legs, back, and biceps. Actually, I’m loving weight training everyday and actually don’t mind the “no cardio” aspect of this month.
How crazy right? I went from cardio 6 days a week tom zero, without missing it too much. I know I’ll be excited though once it’s introduced again, but for now I’m enjoying the workouts.
I also got a new phone case which is so awesome. The back opens and has a mirror and somewhere you can put credit cards/license/money. I LOVE this since I hate carrying a purse.
This is really random, but I’m also selling my prom dress.
I’m probably going to put it on Craig’s List, but if any high school readers/bloggers are interested then email me ![]()
Here’s a picture of the back.
Okay, enough random for the day. Have a great Tuesday ![]()
What did you do this weekend?

I am so sorry again about your friend but you are right about him being in a better place now. I am happy you are feeling better and moving forward with positivity.
Way to rock your workouts! Legs used to be my favourite but now it’s shoulders

Absolutely gorgeous dress! (Even more gorgeous girl, of course!). I absolutely love the blue/green/aqua color combination, and the back is so unique–love it!
The back and biceps workout in Phase 1 was my favorite. I think I’ll keep using that routine once I’m done with the entire program–it’s a good one!
How is the meal plan going? I decided to start following it (with some modification) this weekend, because I was feeling fatigued and realized I needed to be more precise with my macros. So far so good!
I’m glad you were able to spend time at home, sharing memories and reminiscing with friends. I think that really helps when you lose someone you care about. <3 xoxo

It’s good! I mean I’m not eating it completely 100% to a T, but pretty darn close
I am currently on day 45 of the same program and it AMAZES me how much I do not miss cardio. Not a single bit. Ive been doing 30 minutes as directed but I find myself getting annoyed that I’m spending time running when I could be lifting. I’m LOVING this program! Glad to see you are too!
I’m glad your back!
Thats nice that you had a nice time with your friends and family! <3
That is such a pretty dress!

I am so sorry to hear about your friend! Really makes you realize the important things in life!
How are you still liking that LiveFit? I’m thinking about starting it up! I don’t necessarily want to lose a bunch of weight, just tone up everything! Looks like a great program for that!
I love it!! I am not trying to lose weight at all, just get a little ripped;) I’ve seen great results!
Your dress is so pretty! It’s nice you got to spend time catching up with your friends after a loss. My weekend was nothing too special, my favourite body part to train and my legs and triceps!
you look stunning in that dress, I’ve recently been really liking strength training. I liek the legs, but recenly been trying harder with my arms and hae been enjoying feeling my arms get stronger.
Welcome back!

I just want to say again how sorry I am about your friend. But that’s so nice that you and your friends could all be there for each other.
I totally know what you mean about being so sore! I feel that way every time I workout my legs, which is why I hate leg workouts so much.
I love working out my back though!

Glad to hear you’re back! And about pain when trying to sit on the toilet? STORY OF MY LIFE. It’s worse in school…especially when I yell “OWWW” sitting down. I think I just crossed the line?

Hahahah! Nope, I do the same ;D
Aww your prom dress is so pretty! Love the bright colors! My favorite part of my body to train is either legs or abs! I build muscle really easily in those two spots

What a pretty prom dress! Looking back, mine was hideous.
I have a question … when you are doing a mostly lifting workout program and less cardio, how do you balance out your days so you aren’t working out when sore? I feel like I always get so sore after lifting workouts that I have to rest every other day!

I definitely get sore, but the thing with Jamie’s program is we work different muscle groups everyday. However, yesterday I was supposed to work legs, but I am sore ALL over, so I just took an impromptu rest day and am going to continue with my workout today
I think I am in love with that iPhone case. I just sent the link to my husband… I need one…like NOW!
Get it!!! I got it on opensky
