Happy Sunday everyone! Phew, these past couple of days have been go go go, but totally awesome.
I tried to blog last night but the WiFi here isn’t that great, so I’m going to probably make this quick just in case it cuts out again.
Saturday morning my mom and I drove about two hours north of Gainesville to Fernandina Beach, or also known as Amelia Island.
We had to drive through thick fog but once it cleared up more up north, it was GORGEOUS.
We are practically almost to the border of Georgia, so it’s kind of cool to know that we are so close to another state.
This is the view right outside of our condo! Can you say heaven?
Here’s a peak into the place we’re staying at until Monday.

It’s perfect for a little beach condo. Since it has a kitchen we figured we’d get some groceries to last us while we are here, so much cheaper.
Of course we had to soak up beach time while it was still nice out. I hear it’s supposed to rain the rest of the weekend, boo.
I love my family!
It was beautiful watching the sunset.. and even better waking up to this.
I could definitely get used to this ; )

I love both sunrises and sunsets but probably prefer sunsets because 1. you dont have you wake up early for them and 2. they are so unexpected!

Looks like a beautiful vacation! I grew up in Jacksonville, not too far from Fernandina! We are heading out for Memorial Day 5K today! Oh, and I LOVE the sunset–skies are brilliant shades of color and I usually don’t get up early enough for the sunrise
