Happy Friday! One of my favorite days of the week : )

Today’s post is going to be a bunch of random shenanigans since I feel like I have a too many different things to say.

1. I forgot to mention a while back I won a giveaway on one of my favorite blogs stuft mama for a $1 off Sunbutter.

2. I won ANOTHER giveaway on my friend Lisa’s blog, another one of my favorites.

A food scale! This thing is so cool. You can put a plate on it, put it back to zero, and then weigh food too. This would’ve came in handy when I was doing Live Fit.

I actually weighed my chicken yesterday and found out that the piece I cooked was only 3 oz. Wtf, definitely not enough for me, so that’s pretty awesome I can do that. Thanks, Lisa : D

3. Update on my mom’s arm…

Poor mom got her first cast! She was freaking out a bit since she is a dental hygienist and uses her hands to work, but she went to work yesterday and so far so good.

4. I love summer fruit.

Watermelon, strawberries, and blueberries. So yummy and refreshing.

5. As a fitfluential ambassador, I am constantly taking pictures of my workouts and posting them to instagram with the hash tag #fitfluential #proof. You all should too! I’m sure you’ve seen it already everywhere but it’s definitely a great way to influence others to get active.

Did a circuit workout that focused mostly on my legs. Switched the last exercise to 30 seconds leg press, 30 seconds calf press. I actually have this workout posted here, it’s a great one.

This morning I took a class! I can’t tell you how long it’s been since I’ve taken a body works class at the gym. I enjoyed it!

    I am totally craving yogurt and granola lately for snacks…something about the cool treat in the humidity and also the fact the I’m watching my carbs. haha!

  10. My favourite fruit is pineapple. I don’t really like fruit in general but I LOVE pineapple!

    I really want to try sunbutter sometime – hopefully it’ll be easier to get in Canada than it is in the UK (I’ve never seen it here).

    I don’t really take classes at my gym, but I DO go to their weekly boot camp, because the workouts they come up with can be super fun yet hardcore! ;)

    My favorite fruit would have to be apples, because I find that I usually need to eat at least ONE a day or else I go into manic mode or something– gotta get my apple fix ;)

  16. Having a food scale is an awesome way to really know what you’re putting in your body. After using it for ages, I feel like I can eyeball almost anything and know how many oz it is ;-)

    I’m glad to hear your mom is able to work with her cast. I felt so bad for her when I heard about her accident. :( Hope it heals quickly!

    I have an old school non-digital kitchen scale that I actually use pretty frequently. I’d love to get a fancier one though, because I’m pretty sure mine is off half the time.

  19. Lucky you for winning all those giveaways! :D I don’t have a food scale, but I’ve tried out my parents’ one and I’m always surprised at how off my portion sizes can be!

    The only class I take at my gym is spinning. I keep on meaning to try out some others like body pump though!
