Hello, hello! Happy Monday to you all. I hope you had a great weekend!
I took a little break from blogging this weekend because I had so much to do. I didn’t even make a dent in everything I had to do though, ah!
I’m not trying to get all religious here, but this is what came up in my bible app the first day I finished volunteering. Crazy, huh?
Luckily we went through phases of being busy and not having anything to do, so I had a chance to read some of my book for one of my classes.
I forgot to post this, but I left an operation beautiful note last week! I’ve always wanted to do that, and Lindsay’s instagram challenge had it listed on one of the days. Love it.
Since James Wilson’s program has three rest days per week, I set them for Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. It felt good to rest, and I know my body thanked me for it.
I did get some yoga in to stretch out. I haven’t done yoga in FOREVER and I really miss it. I need to do it more often.
I also decorated for Halloween! My roommate and I saw this DIY glittered pumpkin on pinterest (of course) so we got crafty and did it. So easy and fun!
I had overnight oats for the first time in forever yesterday morning. I used a bit more yogurt than usual and it was super creamy. I was out of fruit, so I topped it with some leftover sweet potato and cinnamon. Seriously, so good.
Oh, and last but not least… The Gators beat LSU! Enough said

Love those pumpkins! I’m not a huge DIY person and I want to change that! You are so awesome for volunteering and I think it is something we all need to take more time to do! Thank you for setting such a great example!

I love those pumpkins! So much easier that all the gutting and carving.
I made wine glasses with the chalkboard paint bottoms from Pinterest. They turned out really well… but I haven’t made anything since!
I love adding random bits of squash or pumpkin to things that don’t normal have it in it. So good! Especially with a little maple syrup or brown sugar. Yum!

I absolutely love the glitter pumpkins! Adorable! There are so many amazing Pinterest crafts I want to try, I just usually forget! Ha. The pumpkins look like something I may even be able to do! lol. This weekend I celebrated my one year wedding anniversary, which is today!

and your oatmeal looks really good- when i tried sweet potatoes the first time i didn’t like them (and i’ve only ever had them 1 time since then!) but maybe i’m just preparing them wrong? when i’m home for my long break over christmas i’m planning on experimenting with them a little more!

And that’s awesome that you volunteer! It sounds cheesy, but it honestly feels so good to do something good for the community.
This weekend was Canadian Thanksgiving so I went home and had turkey dinner with my family, went to the farmer’s market, and finally went apple picking!

Keep the verses coming! You never know how many readers may need Jesus. Also, I love your pumpkin!! I want to make one like it. This weekend was spent with my precious 3 yr old niece at our Fall Festival and the Pumpkin zpatch Sat and church on Sunday. Soooo much fun!! Keep shining 4HIM girly!
