Catching Up

Hello! It feels like forever since I last posted even though it’s only been since Monday. I had a test yesterday, and I’ve been known to procrastinate the heck out of studying and writing/reading blogs instead.

I want to break that habit this semester and really focus on studying before tests and NOT procrastinate. It’s hard, but I did it. I’d much rather be writing blog posts… trust me. Winking smile

Anywho, lets catch up!

Aside from studying, not much has been going on around here. I have at least one test each week, so I am swamped this semester. Blogging will be sporadic, but that’s okay. Priorities, people!

I didn’t even join WIAW, but I’m still eating… duh. Here are some things I’ve actually taken a picture of.

Yolk porn, anyone? This was from last week, but a runny egg on top of a turkey burger is awesome.

IMG_9809

Acorn squash, sweet potato with nut butter, chicken and some of a turkey meatloaf that I made.

IMG_9814

Stupid lighting, but this is spaghetti squash with crushed tomatoes, green beans, nutritional yeast, grilled chicken, and hemp seeds.

 IMG_9819

Eggs with cinnamon toast – never gets old.

IMG_9828

Chicken/turkey with veggies. Simple and effective!

And some more things that are basically repeats of those. I’ve also been looooooving this stuff:

IMG_9792

So good! I thought it was… interesting at first. There’s just a lot going on, but I love the crunch and it’s a nice change up. It’s perfect in a warm bowl of oats.

I’m also sure you all are dying to know which Chobani flavor is my favorite out of the new ones they sent me.

They’re all really good, but this one is the best – at least I think so!

Oh, and guess who got a new pair of sunglasses?

How cute are these!! I won a giveaway a while ago on Lauren’s blog and I am in love. Never have I ever owned a nice pair of sunglasses. I usually just buy $5 ones ha.

Have a great Friday!

Do you procrastinate, or do you like to get things done early?

What’s one meal that never gets old to you?

  1. I love your sunglasses! So so cute! I am in the market for a new pair of ray baan’s… Maybe this spring!

I actually am not a procrastinator at all, which can be good and bad! I always tend to get things done quick so I don’t have to think about them anymore lol, I have been known to stress until something is off my plate! (Which isn’t the bet thing either!) :)

  2. I have fallen into that trap of procrastinating with homework/studying by reading blogs and it’s really hard not to! I think just not letting yourself do it some days is probably a good idea and something I’ll have to think about when my work picks up. I love the oakleys! I never win giveaways but I’ll keep trying until I have some fancy ones for myself since I can’t bear the idea of paying more than $5 for them. I either break them or lose them every time.

Oh yes, I’m a hugeeee procrastinator, it’s just awful but I can’t seem to buckle down and get things done when there are about a million other things I’d rather be doing;)

  6. Cute glasses! I haven’t tried the Banana Cho yet, but I’m thinking tonight’s the night. :) I do love the pear, and I’m super intrigued by the concept of caramel paired with pineapple in the ‘bite’ form.

  7. I’m pretty sure it takes me twice as long as it should to get assignments/reading done, because as soon as I finish a paragraph, my immediate reaction is “time to read blogs!”
Yea, I should probably work on that. Ooops.

  9. Lol I cracked up at your “I’m still eating” comment. Thank you for clarifying ;) And I’m horrible when it comes to procrastinating. I swear that anytime I sit down at the computer, I come down with a serious case of ADD. I’ll write a bit, then check e-mails, then blog, then check blogs, then write some more, then go on Pinterest… all within like 10 minutes  Multitasking to the max, I tell ya…

  17. I’m in loooove with the new banana Chobani! I also really like the coffee/chocolate Bite flavor–especially with a few extra chocolate chips thrown on top. ;)

I felt the same way about Nutzo when I first tried it–different, but good! It wasn’t until my third or fourth time eating it that I feel head over heels in love. It’s definitely one of those products that grows on you!

Hope you had a great weekend, Brittany! <3
