Can we just talk about this for a second……..
That is ice. On my car. In Florida. I am sure all of you with snow are laughing at me right now
I am not cut out for this!
Anyway, happy Monday! Who has off for President’s Day? I don’t. Apparently college’s don’t care about the President’s. Boo.

I did get to do some yoga on Saturday though! As usual, it felt amazing. I’m making it a habit to practice every time I have a rest day. I also got to work on my crow pose – it’s getting better!
And I messed around with some handstands.
Apparently I look really good when I do them, so my roommate took a picture. New profile picture? Hot.
I also got my hair done again – no more hooker roots! Blonde girls, I’m sure you feel my pain. Best feeling ever getting them touched up.![]()
I also sat in my room and cried at the picture my mom sent me of my baby. Seriously, he needs to model. I die at that little face and I can’t wait to see him over spring break!
I took zero pictures of my meals this weekend – go me. But, I’ll try to remember for WIAW!
Since this post really has no rhyme or reason, I’ll leave you with a quote I posted on instagram this morning that I absolutely love.
Love.
Have a great Monday!
Tell me something fun you did this weekend!
What’s your favorite yoga pose?
Do you dye your hair?

I’ve been trying to get my crow pose down for so long and I still haven’t mastered it. I’m too afraid of snapping my wrists in half or something ridiculous like that. I make weird faces all the time though, so I get the headstands. Your puppy is SO FREAKING ADORABLE!!

Your hair looks great girl! I highlight my hair and I am definitely about ready for an update. I went darker for fall, but am going to lighten back up for spring. I am trying to hold off for a little while though since I have weddings and a vacation coming up in April and may. Let’s see how it turns out and if I can wait ha ha!
I love crow pose! I still remember the first time I was able to hold it – so exciting!

I love the pigeon pose. My hips seem to be tight fairly often, so it always feels soooo good! Great job at incorporating more yoga into your routine!

it is freeeezing here today so I have no sympathy for you haha just kidding all cold weather is annoying! Bentley is so precious he should definitely model. And I agree with you..colleges should recognize presidents day as a holiday!

good luck on midterms, never ever fun. Frost in Florida? Is that supposed to happen? Lame!

I live outside of Toronto, but my hubby’s in Florida right now for work, and ya, he said that his junior golfers had a frost delay this morning. I’m sure he’d take those temps over the ones were having though

I need to start working on handstands, I could do them when I was a kid but now? Not so much. Favourite yoga pose would have to be either half pigeon (sooo good for my hips) or dancer (just because I find it fun).
I absolutely dye my hair – and I actually don’t go that blonde because I don’t want to worry about the roots that often. Right now I’m loving my light brunette-ness.

I want to practice crow more often!!! I need to make a goal to practice a few times a week. Doing my ACV/probiotics post worked well for those goals so maybe I’ll do another one to practice crow. I swear I wanna get it!

Your new hair is looking fly! But you can handle a little ice girl
Sincerely,

Scraping ice off my car in the morning is one of my least favorite things ever! I can’t believe it’s that cold in Florida! Craziness.

Luckily we have a garage so I do not have to scrape ice here! I used to have to scrape my car every day in winter and do not miss it!!
You rocked the crow pose girl! I do love yoga
Happy Monday love!
Crow pose and handstands – two things that I would definitely kill to be able to do well but a fear of breaking my neck kind of holds me back from practising as often as I maybe should. I think downward dog would have to be my favorite pose because it always loosens me up and clears my head nicely.
Your hair is seriously looking gorgeous, and I couldn’t help but laugh at the frost on your windshield seeing as I’m kind of buried under the stuff here in Canada

I don’t have off for President’s Day, either! Ugh. I’ve been trying to make a habit of doing yoga on my rest days, as well. It just feels so good! And, believe me, scraping ice off a car in Ohio is no more fun than it is in Florida.

My favorite yoga pose is either Tree Pose or Pigeon. I find both to be challenging, yet very relaxing

As a fellow warm-weather girl, I feel ya with the ice! Anytime is gets below 40 degrees here I practically hibernate, even though I know people are probably rolling their eyes as me
I think that’s a great idea just to dool around with some yoga poses on rest days, I’m definitely going to have to incorporate more of that into my study breaks
GOOD LUCK on your midterms!

I can’t believe even you guys are getting frost! I am sooo ready for spring. I actually drove 3 blocks to the gym yesterday becasue I was too cold to walk.
That is a pretty decent handstand you’ve got going on there!
And love that you’re rocking the crow post! Impressive.
Um, wow. How is it in Florida you have frost, but in my parts of Canada we’ve had none;) Lucky me I guess.
Love your hair, always!

My midterms are starting to creep up as well, so I definitely feel you on the study, eat, workout rotation! Today was definitely a day I could have used a day off, but alas as you said, schools obviously could care less about our Presidents.

and it doesn’t make it better that my bf can do it without any effort or training…

Between you and Linz, you guys are making me jealous that I can’t do a handstand! I’m too scared to attempt one though – I’m pretty sure I’d break my back haha. My favourite yoga pose is just the good old downward dog. I love how it stretches out my calves, which are always tight!

I never do yoga but I really should! It’s be great for my muscles with all the lifting and running. Hopefully adding swimming back in will lengthen the muscles out.
I had off yesterday and it was AMAZING.

I just scheduled a root touch-up (maintenance on blonde is so hard!) and I can’t be more excited. All it takes is 1/4 of an inch to start looking trashy. And I’ve met that standard

I feel your pain. I call my hair “skank hair” when my new growth shows up. And as bad as it always seems, after dying it I always realize it was worse than I even thought.

Haha i hate how my face goes when I do handstands all the blood rushing to my head haha!
I feel your pain with your roots lol – my hair is dyed like light caramel/blonde and when my roots come it is notttt nice!

I went to the beach and it was glorious! I don’t have any favourite poses, because I don’t do it enough (but I should start doing it more.
I used to be blonde back in the day and I got soooo tired of having to keep doing my roots. My hair is naturally dark so I looked like a legit hooker like one week after a dye job. It was so bad. I loooove the way yours looks and I honestly never notice hooker roots on you!!
I am so impressed with your crow pose. I can’t do it…yet. I should practice yoga more often!
Christina @ The Athletarian recently posted..Well that didn’t happen.
hahaha is that how people call hair that needs a serious touch-up?!!
And wow, go you!!! that crow pose is lookin’ good~I think that pose is no joke. I always get mid-way and hold for one second and flop onto the floor, hehe. But my question is, don’t the back of your arms hurt after trying them over and over?

Umm, yes, Bentley most definitely does need to dog model. He’s such a stud!
And speaking of studs, or maybe superwomen, look at YOU rocking the crow pose and headstands! Ow ow! I’m super impressed, Brittany. Please teach me your ways?
I can definitely relate to the blonde root thing–even though my natural color is dirty blonde, it’s a very dirty blond, which means they begin showing after just a few weeks. This post has reminded me that I need to make a hair appointment!
Happy almost Friday! xoxo
